Review
I had a review of my curacy so far with my CME officer and training incumbent this evening. It went well, I think. Here are some of the things that came up from my end:- how much I enjoy serving - particularly at communion;
- the privilege of baptisms and funerals;
- the support and friendship I've received from the team;
- how I wish I had more time to give, and how I feel guilty when I have to cancel things.

On the one hand... don't feel guilty about reduced time itself. We have reduced time and that's actually part of our calling.
On the other - if you find you cancel too many things, does that mean you're too good at agreeing to stuff before you know you can do it? Or is it because work sneaks up on you and grabs your time when you least expect it? If it's the former, at least there's something you can do about it. If the latter, then again maybe that's just part of your ministry.

I take my hat off to all NSM's because you manage an impossible balancing act. I aslo thank God for you.
