A new approach
(backposting) Had one of those, um, interesting conversations at breakfast with one of the folks from the customer and a colleague, and on the drive into the office, where a radically different approach to our major outstanding issue was presented. We spent some time on it, and then did the right thing: which was to run the numbers. And the numbers didn't work, so it was a no.But it did force us to re-evaluate the options, and to come up with a couple of new ones. So then I wrote a discussion paper. We hope to make a decision tomorrow.
