Take that...
(backposting) Had a full day's meeting today, went well. Finished a little early, did some writing up, had a beer in the hotel bar, didn't fancy the restaurant buffet. So, I asked the reception for advice on where to eat, and they suggested the Ugly Duckling near Wembley arena, about 5-10 minutes' walk away.Indeed, not too bad, and friendly staff - but on the way, I passed many, many women. In their early 30s, mainly. All heading towards the arena.
Why? Take That concert. If only I'd known, I could have tried to get a ticket...
