Nana's 90th
Had a great time at Nana's 90th birthday part in East Leake today. As always, Kate did a great job on the catering front, and a lovely time was had by all. Jo, in particular, got on so well with Turtle and Mouse, and was a star. She didn't get to bed before 2300, but there was so much going on that this was no surprise.Nana's quite frail, and keeps falling and hurting herself, but there's been nothing serious as yet, and she's certainly all there mentally. All of her grandchildren were there bar Peter - whose wife is expecting their first any time now - and all three great-grandchildren were, too.
Didn't say evensong this morning, but as I was awake from 0315 (thanks Jo) to 0530, I said morning prayer then instead.
