Post number (2^8)-1
So, we like powers of 2, and also powers of 2 minus 1. And that's what this post is: my 256th post. Had an excellent day at work today. Very busy, but I had one of those "damn, but I'm good" days, when some things really seemed to go right. Lots and lots going on at work, and Moo and Jo not feeling too great, but so far I'm all right.A good supervision on christology (I really enjoyed Kathryn Tanner's work in the Cambridge Companion to Christian Doctrine on Luther's approach to pro me, pro nobis, compared with Barth's view), and we strayed into a very interesting discussion on street services and ministry, an area in which Alan, who's done lots of teaching and supervision of other Salvation Army officers, had a lot to say. Fascinating, and I learnt a lot.
